Life of PhD students

  1. Guide

The PhD Guide is a short handbook designed to help doctoral candidates become familiar with the organizational features of the PhD program in Philology. It outlines students’ rights and duties and provides some best practices to follow in order to successfully complete the doctoral journey.

  • Creation of the ORCID ID

Starting from the academic year 2024–2025, the PhD program in Philology encourages its students to register their ORCID iD from the very first year.
ORCID is a unique, globally recognized identifier that allows a researcher to be unambiguously distinguished from others with the same name or with variations in academic signature.

  • Submission of research outputs to IRIS web site

The scientific output of PhD candidates contributes to the evaluation of the PhD program and can have a significant impact on the overall life of the University. Over the years, the official upload of doctoral students’ publications to the IRIS platform has therefore gained considerable importance. A short guide to using the platform is available for consultation.
